We find this phrase in chapter 24 of the Gospel of Matthew, in which God describes in more detail what will happen to the human race. We should read these words more often because they can provide the explanation for the events that we see, but we cannot find their true meaning.
I often think about the things described in chapter 24 of the Gospel of Matthew, and most often about Christ’s warning that there will be famines. I pass by the markets and stores and see the abundance of everything and anything. There is such wide choice of food from every corner of this planet that one becomes confused not knowing what to choose.
And then, a memory comes to my mind; a touching story of once my parishioner Vasilj Markis. He came to Canada long time ago by ship from Military Frontier, Banija or Kordun, I cannot really recall. He ended up in North Ontario, in the wilderness of the forests, where he earnestly worked to earn his daily bread. That’s where the unfortunate recession caught him. The old Markis told me how people were dying of hunger at that time.
To my astonishment, he explained further the human tragedy to me. He told me the story of a man from Herzegovina, a husky guy, like most of them are from those rocky parts of the world. With his modest wage he could not feed himself. Exhausted and weakened he got ill, and later on died.
In the meantime, loads of wheat were thrown away into the sea.
Christ tells us clearly that there will be famine. Everything Christ said either happened already or it will happen in the future.
It’s about the Antichrist, and his terror before the Second Coming of Christ.
“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying: ‘Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?’. And Jesus answered them: ‘See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying: ’I am the Christ’, and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. ‘Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:3-14)
Apostle Paul explains this in more detail to the Thessalonians. He says: “Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12)
Ignatius Brianchaninov collected in one place everything said about the Antichrist by the holy fathers:
“Antichrist will call himself a preacher and restorer of true knowledge of God: those who do not understand Christianity will see in him a representative and a champion of true religion and will join themselves to him. Antichrist will appear to be gentle, merciful, full of love and of all virtues: he will be recognized as such and obeyed on account of his most exalted virtues by those who recognize fallen human nature as the truth. Antichrist will offer to mankind the organization of the highest earthly well-being and prosperity, he will offer honours, wealth, majesty, and bodily comforts and pleasures: those who seek earthly things will accept the Antichrist and call him their master. Antichrist will reveal before mankind a shameful display of striking miracles similar to the cunning presentation of the theater. He will instill fear by the terrors and wonders of his miracles, and by them satisfy vanity and human pride, he will satisfy carnal sophistry and superstition, and will confuse human learning: all men who are guided by the light of their fallen nature and who are foreign to guidance by the Light of God will be attracted to obey the deceiver. The Antichrist’s opponents will be considered trouble-makers and enemies of the general welfare and good order, they will be subjected to both concealed and open persecution, torture, and execution. All who refuse to worship the Antichrist will fall into the most painful and difficult position: their small number will seem insignificant before all mankind, and their opinion will be thought especially feeble, subject to general contempt, hatred slander, and oppression; violent death will be their lot.” (Vol. IV, page 297)
A few recent events cleared up for me the question of famine and pestilences on earth and the participation of Antichrist in some terrible disasters.
A few years ago, I had goosebumps when I watched a dress rehearsal for bringing the Antichrist to the throne. Some billionaire, a “bishop” of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, a branch of the Pentecostal sect, had consumed three hundred million dollars while building the Temple of Solomon in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Everything was copied from the Temple of Solomon to the smallest detail except that this building was larger than the original one. This “bishop” who had the pride of the devil stressed that his temple exceeded the size of the famous Sao Paulo Cathedral. That was his goal obviously all along.
I do not want to encourage anyone to wrongdoing, but that video can be found on You Tube. So, as I said, the dress rehearsal for bringing the Antichrist to the throne has already happened. The lengthy script is complete, everything worked perfectly; except, when the time comes for the real performance the theater will look somewhat different.
I have read a few days ago that in Sweden they cannot make enough chips – marks of the Antichrist. Four thousand of the unfortunates have already taken the mark; the rest of them impatiently wait for their turn. They are truly very efficient. I watch people open banks, pay their bills, and do many other things just by reaching out their hand. We will pay the price for the convenience of the devil. Regarding this, and many other recent pathological phenomena, I was thinking about human conscience and how it is shaped and prepared to accept easily everything that is sinful. Not long ago, they celebrated a 500-year-anniversary of the Luther rebellion. While symposiums followed one another, and wise, bald professors theorized, I could not help but realize that all that is happening now is in fact his sin. John’s writings on Antichrist from the Book of Revelation have been quoted very often and I would say they have been maybe overused. The Beast “causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.” (Revelation 13:16-18)
These recent events gave more concrete outlines to John’s prophecy. There is an abundance of signs that indicate the difficult and unfortunate times that are ahead of the human race.
Here is another one, just so that we are certain, and we don’t fool ourselves: again, not long ago, supreme Israeli rabbis set the condition for all political parties before the coming elections to express their standing regarding the building of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. So, will they nill they, they must include their views on the subject in their political platforms.
Far away, in Sao Paulo, in 2014, a dress rehearsal was successfully carried out; now they can start working on the real thing. Many things that we could find in chapter 24 of the Gospel of Matthew are already happening. Solders of Antichrist have already gone beyond what God foresaw for us with their homosexual orgies, gender confusion, and trans gender phenomena. Those who have passed away 20-30 years ago, have left this world still innocent. Until recently, people could have not even imagined all the perversions that exist nowadays. These events go even beyond the expectations of Lucifer himself.
How can there be famine with all this abundance? Even that picture emerges from the darkness of the devil.
Almost everyone heard about the horrible devil’s creation called Monsanto. The tragic list of Monsanto’s transgressions against the humanity is very long. Here are some examples: saccharin “one of the most cancerous food additives” was created in their laboratories. Nuclear bomb is a product of their devil’s machinations. “DDT” the most notorious insecticide of all times, responsible for many deformities and deaths of children, people and animals was created in laboratories of Monsanto.
“Agent Orange”- you probably saw many times what this herbicide caused in Vietnam – 400 thousand people were killed, half a million children were born with deformities, and more than a million people experienced the consequences of this monstrous compound. We all remember the horrible pictures of burnt down forests and everything else that came in contact with this poison.
The Americans had spread this poison from the air onto the Vietnamese jungle, that literally disappeared after this act of spraying. Agent Orange left behind infertile land with no place to hide for Vietcong solders.
Monsanto started manufacturing oil-based fertilizers in 1955. The main issue with this kind of fertilizers is that they kill useful microorganisms in the soil and that way they make it sterile and dependant of synthetic fertilizers.
Once the soil is treated long enough with glyphosate herbicides, it begins to be less fertile. If to that process Monsanto’s Round Up is added, which our farmers call the Total, the same name they call all glyphosate herbicides, it can easily happen that nothing will grow on that land anymore. There is one thing that will grow even on that damaged land and that is the GMO cultures developed in the laboratories of Monsanto.
Round Up is an herbicide developed in the 70s for the purpose of killing weeds, but soon after a seed resistant to its effects was created. All this is just a step by step process leading to a final goal of creating a dependence of humanity on this monstrous company.
At the beginning of the 90s, Monsanto started its offence with the GMO corn, soy, and cotton seeds that were supposed to have two benefits: internal pesticide and resistance to Round Up. Damage caused by GMO is immense, and Obama signed a bill that puts Monsanto above all legal institutions of the USA and allows planting their seeds without any limitations and without any possibility of writ of prohibition or lawsuit that would result in compensation paid by Monsanto.
This company is nowadays globally supported even by the United Nations since it is included in the so-called Agenda 21.
At the end of the last century they bought “Delta Pine” company. And these evil-doers developed a seed that can be used only once. It won’t be possible anymore, as it is still for a little while, to choose the best seed after the harvest for the next spring seeding, instead everyone will have to submit to Monsanto.
And there, Antichrist and his servants will be waiting to make sure that “no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name”.
That is how there will be famines and pestilences.
