The Will Of God: Lawful Marriage

Strasni-sud

There will be a word about homosexuals, or whatever they are called, and for many reasons.
All of the media outlets, for years now and consistently, as if this world does not consist of any normal persons, but only this small group of individuals, and if all other important world issues have been solved, homosexual themes are ever so present, and, generally heavily emphasized so that we would be forced to accept what is unacceptable.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it” (Gen 1:27-28 (KJV)

As you can see God’s first commandment, given to us before the Ten that were given to Moses, had to do with the birth and multiplication of people on earth. Our beautiful rite of Orthodox Church marriage is, in fact, a celebration of that Divine will as lawful, blessed by God marriage and the hearing of children with – in it. God’s mercy is evoked on young people, to rejoice in one another. “Keeping within the law; for that is what God intended.“

Had God wanted to arrange this world otherwise, He could have. In one instance when some tempters approached the Lord, in an attempt to change the limits of God’s Law, and thereby insert something of their own mind. He responded as one may say angrily: “Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?”(Matt 19:4-5 (KJV)

In the Holy Scriptures in many places the question of homosexuality is specifically regulated, point by point, and in possible aspect. The Lord God leaves no doubt. “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (Lev 20:13 (KJV)  In any event I have confirmed that this commandment of God can be found in all Bibles and is clear to all.

Seeing how widespread this lawlessness has become man is tempted to ask: If it is so clear and God left absolutely nothing to ponder, how  is it that so many have chosen to go awry  in this way and so many more have chosen to staunchly support them and sell this evil to the world as something good? And why does God permit all this and for how much longer “.

Holy Apostle Paul said that these, who sinned long and hard.  “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” (Romans 1:21-27 (KJV)

Then further, the apostle clarifies the position. Knowing full well that what they were doing was not according to God’s will, why then would they refuse to accept God’s will. Here is the answer: “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:28-32 (KJV)

We see how some Protestant so-called churches open wide their doors to them and arbitrarily and arrogantly already in the name of God dole out forgiveness to them while they saw confusion in the souls of others. The Lord knows this kind and long ago said that there would be those who would falsify His will. The Lord said to the prophet Jeremiah just so that it would be known.  “The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.” (Jer 14:14 (KJV)

Before our eyes the prophet’s words have come true that “the earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.” (Isaiah 24:20 (KJV)

And that there he no doubt those “that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.” (2 Peter 2:10-11 (KJV) for them  “to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.” (2 Peter 2:17 (KJV)

“All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient, all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any “the Apostle Paul teaches usAll things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.” (1 Cor 6:12-13 (KJV)

The apostle advises us  fatherly as to his own children. “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Cor 6:18-20 (KJV)

This which was said is for our salvation. But if it were said to others.  “Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” (James 5:20 (KJV)
